Accelerated MBA

The Accelerated MBA is made and offered as a full-time MBA program that is both fast-paced and academically challenging. It is not made and designed for individuals who are now working full-time. Students begin their course work in the Fall semester and complete the said program the following Summer term.

The AMBA program will launch 1 cohort 35 to 40 students every fall and spring semester. Students take 1 class every 6 weeks, 3 courses in the fall and spring semesters and 2 courses in the summer. Classes are usually held at the UTEP Graduate Business Center campus in Downtown El Paso. The Fall 2011 cohort will also meet on Tuesday evenings from 5:30pm up to 9:30pm and Saturday mornings from 8:00am to 12:00pm for the entirety of their MBA program. The Spring 2012 cohort will meet on Monday and Thursday evenings from 5:30pm to 9:30pm for the entirety of their MBA program.

The Curriculum: Accelerated MBA students take their significant required business core courses together as a cohort composed of 25 students. Students complete an MBA business core that also includes content coverage in each of the basic functional areas of business: business technology, accounting, finance, business law, management, marketing and strategic management, plus required courses in other significant critical areas such as leadership. Part of what also makes the Massey MBA different, though, is its threading of entrepreneurial thinking, business ethics and international business concepts throughout the program. And Massey is 1 of only a handful of MBA programs in the United States that requires an international business study-abroad experience MGT 6350 of each student prior to their graduation. Making the program very useful to people who want to be excellent on their careers for their family and love ones.

A sample of such program is the UTEP MBA Program. This offers an Accelerated MBA AMBA. a fast-track, cohort style MBA choice that combines convenience, quality and affordability for the region's working professionals. Through the AMBA program, students can now complete their UTEP MBA degree in just 2 years by attending class twice a week at the UTEP Graduate Business Center located in downtown El Paso.
